Two players on the Phoenix Suns were listed on the injury report ahead of the team’s season opener on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings.
Jalen Green was listed as out due to a right hamstring strain.
Grayson Allen was listed as probable with left hip soreness.
Allen has dealt with a similar hip injury in the past and it impacted him at the end of the 2023-24 season.
For the Kings, Domantas Sabonis (right hamstring), Keegan Murray (left thumb) and Isaac Jones (illness) were all listed as out.
The Suns look to turn a new leaf this year with new head coach Jordan Ott, and new-look starting lineup around Devin Booker.
The biggest change is not having Kevin Durant in the lineup after he was traded to the Houston Rockets.
Green was one of the biggest pieces in the return haul for Durant and his debut with the Suns will have to be put on hold.
Last season, the Suns (36-46) finished two spots behind the Kings (40-42) in the Western Conference standings.
