Fans Dissapointed With Michael Jordan’s Segment On NBA On NBC

NBC

Michael Jordan’s much-hyped segment on NBA on NBC ended up being a disappointment for fans.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Jordan was joining NBC as a “special contributor” for the network’s return to NBA coverage.

“I am so excited to see the NBA back on NBC. The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I’m excited about being a special contributor to the project. I’m looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October,” Jordan said in a statement.

On Tuesday night, Jordan’s segment “Insights To Excellence’ aired, and the NBA great spoke about why he decided to get back on TV.

“We have an obligation to pay it forward. That’s part of what this is all about.”

The segment did not feature any commentary on the current game and seems to be one long interview that will air during the NBA season.

Fans were a bit disappointed with MJ’s segment.

Jordan reportedly got paid $40 million for his segment with the NBA, which seems pretty bad for what they produced.
