One of the most anticipated games of the 2025 NFL season is coming in just a few days, as Aaron Rodgers will look to lead his Pittsburgh Steelers against his former team, the Green Bay Packers, this Sunday.
The Steelers are looking to bounce back from a Thursday Night Football loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 7, while the Packers are eyeing to win in their third game in a row and stay undefeated through three games since their bye in Week 5.
Packers’ LaFleur catching up on Aaron Rodgers’ film

There is no denying that Aaron Rodgers facing the Packers offers a massive narrative for everyone to talk about heading into Week 8. As much as LaFleur tries to downplay this storyline, there is no stopping people from talking about it, given how much the quarterback means to the Green Bay franchise and the history he’s made with the team.
But when it comes to preparing for what Rodgers will do on the field against Green Bay, LaFleur may have some catching up to do.

LaFleur said he has not seen much film of Rodgers this season
“That’s kind of what we’re diving into right now,” LaFleur said.
Rodgers played for 18 years with the Packers and won a Super Bowl with them. Regardless of where he plays for and what happens the rest of the way, he will always be remembered as a Packer first before anything else.
Rodgers (8) throws a pass in the first quarter of the NFL game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati on Oct. 16, 2025.
