'Feels so good': Bruno Guimaraes reacts to Newcastle United's big Champions League win

**Newcastle United made it back-to-back wins in the Champions League, beating Benfica 3-0 at St James' Park on Tuesday night.**

It was a commanding performance from the Magpies, with each and every player who stepped onto the pitch in top form and playing their part.

In truth, the 3-0 scoreline slightly flattered the Portuguese side, and they have goalkeeper Anatolly Trubin to thank for that, as the Ukrainian stopper made some fine saves to keep Newcastle at bay.

Anthony Gordon impressed everyone with his endeavour last night, and a brace from Harvey Barnes after coming on as a substitute certainly won't have done his chances of a first-team place any harm, especially with Anthony Elanga misfiring right now.

Bruno Guimaraes enjoyed that one

'This is the NUFC I know' - Bruno

> "A victory that feels so good. This is the NUFC I know. What an incredible atmosphere. Howay the lads!🖤🤍3️⃣9️⃣"

It did feel like a case of being back to what we expect from this side last night. Relentless attacking football ahead of a solid defence.

It's time to push on after that performance

This win and the performance that went with it now need to be used as the catalyst to get a good run together in all competitions.

There is another international break to come in November, which has a good chance of screwing up our momentum again, but after that, we've got a clear run until March.

It's time to kick on and show everyone what this team that Eddie Howe has assembled can do.
