Ravens Worked Out 3 Players

The Baltimore Ravens enter Week 8 of the 2025 season dealing with significant challenges on both sides of the ball.

A 1-5 start has exposed critical vulnerabilities throughout the roster, with injuries creating the most pressing concerns.

Lamar Jackson remains sidelined, while losses along the defensive line have disrupted protection schemes and affected offensive rhythm.

Depth has become a major issue, particularly after Nnamdi Madubuike and Broderick Washington Jr. landed on injured reserve.

The coaching staff is actively searching for solutions through roster adjustments.

Baltimore worked out three players on Tuesday, including outside linebacker Efe Obada, defensive tackle David Olajiga, and rookie defensive tackle Tommy Akingbesote, according to KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson.

The workouts signal the organization’s urgency to address depth and stabilize performance as the season progresses.

The Ravens recently promoted Nigerian-born defensive tackle C.J. Okoye to their 53-man roster, creating flexibility to pursue additional moves.

That decision allowed Baltimore to sign Olajiga without sacrificing another practice squad player.

The team has consistently maximized the International Player Pathway program slot since its inception, using it to develop talent from global markets.

Baltimore added Olajiga to their practice squad following Tuesday’s workout.

The 27-year-old London native entered the NFL through the International Player Pathway program, which provides teams with an additional 17th practice squad spot.

He spent the 2024 season on the Rams’ practice squad before joining the Patriots this offseason.

Olajiga began the regular season in New England but was released last week after the Patriots used their IPP slot to sign tight end Thomas Odukoya.

His addition gives the Ravens a developmental piece with international experience.

Baltimore hopes the roster adjustments will provide the depth needed to turn around its struggling season.
