The Las Vegas Raiders couldn’t cope with their offense and hit a new low on Sunday with just 31-0 against the Chiefs. They managed just 30 plays on offense and mustered up just the first three downs. Following this humiliating loss, Ashton Jeanty gets very honest about the losing culture in the league.
In a viral clip on X by Dov Kleiman, Ashton said, “I don’t work as hard as I do, and I don’t think anybody else in the building does to lose like that, so if we are being honest, it’s been a losing culture around here for a long time. But we have to continue to work to fix that.”
Yikes: Raiders star rookie RB Ashton Jeanty says the team has a "losing culture" after losing to the Chiefs.

From 2-5 to Frustration: Raiders Face Harsh Reality After Chiefs Rout

Jeanty might sound brutal, but it’s quite true. The Raiders’ offense struggles against the Red Army. They could only register 95 yards against 434 from the Chiefs. Further, the running back could carry the ball six times for 21 yards. And Smith had 10 of 16 for 67 yards passing, leaving the team with just three first downs in 17:52 of possession.
With the Raiders standing at 2-5 after losing to the Chiefs, many showed frustration against Coach Pete Carroll and QB Geno Smith, who could barely make an impact.
The team hasn’t won the Super Bowl since 2021, and that is the only winning franchise it has had since 2016. Pete Carroll was expected to change this culture after replacing Antonio Pierce, but failed to meet the expectations.
A reporter at Yahoo Sports also takes a bold stance on the head coach, asking, “Is it possible Pete Carroll could be a one-year coach in Vegas?” Can the Raiders surrender this season, like a bad blackjack hand?”
Meanwhile, just as Ashton voices his criticism, many fans react. One fan said, “Ever since Gruden left.”
Otherssaid, “Good thing he’s not a Jet. 😂🤣😂😂”
Anotherchimed, “He ain’t wrong.”
One fansaid, “Where’s the lie?”
One fanstated, “Help us change.”
With Jeanty realizing the pitfalls from the Raiders’ side, it isclear that the running back is gearing up for the upcoming class and will soon change this “*losing culture.*“
