West Ham star set to undergo scan on injury in another blow for Nuno Espírito Santo

**West Ham defender Konstantinos Mavropanos is set to undergo a scan to determine the severity of the injury he suffered in the loss to Brentford on Monday.**

The defender could not continue after limping off the pitch in the 2-0 loss.

And Hammers boss Nuno Espírito Santo has confirmed he is unavailable for Friday’s game against Leeds, though is unsure yet how long he will be sidelined for.

**“**All the players are working well. It’s up to us to take the decisions in right moments. All the players are available. Some have physical problems. 

“\[Konstantinos Mavropanos\] is injured. He is doing a scan to see the real injury he has. I cannot answer exactly how long he is out, but this game is not an option.”

“It’s up to us to connect the fans again,” he said. “It’s up to us that the fans go to the stadium and they enjoy and that they are on our side.
