Mohamed Salah has been named on the bench for Liverpool as they take on Eintracht Frankfurt, looking to break their losing streak. has dropped the attacker amid a run of disappointing form.

The Dutchman has made five changes to his starting lineup as Hugo Ekitike, Jeremie Frimpong, Andy Robertson, Curtis Jones and Florian Wirtz all start following the Reds' defeat to at the weekend. In that game, Salah was replaced with still trying to find a goal against United as Ruben Amorim's side recorded a surprise win.

Slot's changes see summer signings Ekitike and Wirtz come into the game amid scrutiny of their positions. The former enjoyed a promising start at Anfield but saw Alexander Isak arrive at the club, while Wirtz has yet to hit the ground running.
