Arne Slot has made significant changes to his line-up, most notably benching Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool are out to prevent a fifth consecutive defeat in their Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt tonight. The Reds are playing at Deutsche Bank Park, having already secured a home victory over Atletico Madrid and suffered an away loss to Galatasaray in the initial stage of the competition.
Liverpool enter the game following a disappointing 2-1 Premier League defeat at home to their fierce North West rivals, Manchester United.
Slot has shaken up the squad by making five changes, with Salah being dropped to the bench being the most significant.
Hugo Ekitike is expected to take up a position on the right against his former club, while Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo retain their spots in the centre and on the left flank respectively.

In defence, Jeremie Frimpong comes in as right-back, Andy Robertson remains at left-back, and Ibrahima Konate continues his partnership with captain Virgil van Dijk in central defence.
Midfield sees the return of Florian Wirtz as the number 10, with Curtis Jones replacing Alexis Mac Allister alongside Dominik Szoboszlai at the base of midfield.
With Ryan Gravenberch out due to injury, Academy goalkeeper Kornel Misciur joins a substitutes' bench that includes Federico Chiesa and Rio Ngumoha.
