SALT LAKE CITY – Ace Bailey is expected to NBA debut tonight, according to the latest Utah Jazz injury report.
Bailey was listed as questionable due to an illness on Tuesday, but was cleared for action ahead of Wednesday’s season opener against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Utah Jazz Injury Report For Season Opener
While Bailey has been cleared to play, the Jazz injury report wasn’t entirely clean.
Second-year guard Isaiah Collier remains out with a hamstring strain and will be re-evaluated in one week.
Collier failed to suit up for the Jazz during their four preseason contests due to the injury.

Former Jazz fan favorite Georges Niang will also miss the season opener as he recovers from a fourth metatarsal stress reaction in his foot.
Niang is expected to miss several games early in the 2025-26 campaign.
The Clippers have a clean injury report sans two-way guard Jordan Miller, who is out with a hamstring injury.
Bailey Had Strong Showing In Preseason
Before suffering a knee tendonitis that caused him to miss the last game and a half of the Jazz’s four-game preseason schedule, Bailey showed why the team was willing to select him with the fifth overall pick.
In his first two outings, the 19-year-old averaged 22.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals while shooting 65 percent from the floor and 40 percent from three.

Jazz coach Will Hardy downplayed the seriousness of Bailey’s tendonitis during the preseason.
“It’s nothing that we’re overly concerned with,” Hardy said last week. “He’s not going to be getting imagery like that. It’s just trying to take care of him.”
In his lone season at Rutgers, Bailey averaged 17.6 points per game while shooting 46 percent from the floor and 34 percent from three.
