Chelsea break the same record twice in one half; plus Enzo racks up crazy Stamford Bridge G/A…

Chelsea are absolutely crushing Ajax at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are 4-1 up and dominating against ten men. They’re doing so well that they’ve managed to break their own record twice in one half.

When Marc Guiu scuffed in a ball after 15 minutes of the game he became Chelsea’s youngest ever Champions League goalscorer, at 19 years and 291 days.

However he didn’t even get time to find out he was holding that record – within half an hour Estevao Willian had won and scored a penalty to take it for himself at 18 years and 181 days

The best part is, both Reggie Walsh and Ryan Kavuma-McQueen are on the bench… they’re 17.

We couldn’t, could we?

Estevao got his penalty because captain Enzo Fernandez offered it to him, having already bagged one for himself earlier in the half.

That makes it 6 goals and 8 assists in his last 21 Stamford Bridge games for the Argentine, who continues to produce goal contributions at a silly rate. He’s been taken off to rest him ahead of the weekend now. We face a Sunderland team who are not to be underestimated given their record this season.

That game is at Stamford Bridge… he couldn’t, could he?

In other news…

Jamie Gittens got a start tonight but hasn’t impressed yet. That isn’ great considering his struggles for minutes under Enzo Maresca, even with players like Liam Delap and Cole Palmer out. Still, against ten men he has a superb chances to shine out wide.

Another exciting young English winger could feature tonight too – Kavuma-McQueen is named on the bench for the Blues for the first time. Imagine if he comes on and breaks the record? It’s certainly not impossible given what we’ve seen in a strange game tonight.
