League insider Shams Charania is reporting that the NBA has heard the complaints of many and will be putting the Larry O’Brien Trophy back at the center of the court during the Finals series.

The NBA will return to painting the Larry O'Brien trophy at center court and Finals script logo on the home team's floor for the Finals starting this season, per sources. The last time the large trophy was painted on court was 2009. pic.twitter.com/QsFOTFZCSa

Charania also reported that the league will be using the classic Finals script logo on the home team’s floor for the series. The last time fans saw the Larry O’Brien at center court, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers were cruising to a ring with their dominant Finals win over the Orlando Magic.

It has been an issue with fans for quite some time. Professional sports leagues like to get rid of things that fans enjoy; probably so they can get more advertisements on the floor.
