“He’s Totally Lying” Aaron Rodgers Called Out After Comments About Packers Leading Up To…

Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers will face off against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. It will mark the first time Rodgers has faced off against Green Bay since he was traded three years ago. Coincidentally, Rodgers will be playing for the team he beat in Super Bowl XLV with Green Bay.

This weekend will be the ultimate reunion, and the future hall of fame quarterback had some things to say before Sunday.

A trade request by Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets was granted by the Green Bay Packers two and a half years ago. Although the New York Jets didn’t work out for him, he is off to a great start with the Steelers:

This week he finally gets to play against the team he once took to a Super Bowl and won multiple MVPs with. But as the game approaches, Rodgers wants to make it very clear that this isn’t a “revenge game” like Brett Favre and others had.

“I don’t have any animosity toward the organization,” Rodgers said. “Obviously, I wish that things had been better in our last year there, but I have a great relationship with a lot of people still in that organization. This is not a revenge game for me. I’m just excited to see some of those guys and be on Sunday Night Football again.”

Aaron Rodgers says he doesn’t view Sunday against the Packers as a “revenge game.”

Through his first six games with the Steelers, Rodgers has been better than the team might have hoped. He’s enjoying an 8.1% touchdown rate – his highest since his 2020 MVP season – and is completing 68.6% of his passes, all while taking sacks on less than 5% of dropbacks.

It’s a far better year than his full season with the Jets in 2024 or his final season with the Packers in 2022.

The comments of the video certainly had mixed reactions. Many Green Bay fans still show an incredible amount of support for the four-time MVP quarterback. Others still think the divorce was too ugly for their liking.

Regardless, the comment section was filled with varying opinions.
