Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers still hopes to leave the organization before the Nov. 4 trade deadline after doubling down on his request this week.
The Raiders are 2-5 this season and suffered their most damning loss of the year in Week 7, when they were shut out by the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. Meyers has the second-most receiving yards on the Raiders this year (329), but wishes to leave the organization.

After Meyers made his first trade request, he was heavily linked with the New York Giants, who had just lost Malik Nabers to a serious injury. However, the Buffalo Bills could also be a contender.

Whether the Raiders will entertain a trade for Meyers remains to be seen, but the Bills could benefit from a new receiver. Buffalo made a perfect 4-0 start to the season, but has suffered consecutive defeats against the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons.
The Bills may have MVP quarterback Josh Allen, but his leading receiver is tight end Dalton Kincaid. He has 287 yards in five games after missing the Falcons' defeat through injury.

The wide receiver room, consisting of Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Joshua Palmer, has shown signs of success but could use assistance. Several teams could use Meyers' skillset, but the Raiders have yet to entertain a deal.
Meyers first requested a trade on Aug. 28, before the 2025 NFL season began. After entering the final year of his three-year, $33 million deal, Meyers attempted to negotiate a new contract with Las Vegas and asked to leave when no progress was made.

The contract was signed while Meyers was still a member of the Patriots, and he wants out of the Raiders. "Oh, for sure," Meyers said to reporters on Tuesday. "But I'm a professional at the end of the day.
"I'm just trying to play good football. If I'm here, I'll play good football. If I'm not here, I'll go out there and play wherever I'm supposed to be."

Meyers hasn't put much thought into a new deal in Las Vegas and has grown tired of negotiations. "That window kind of just closed with the offseason in it," Meyers said.
"If it gets done, I don't care for real. I really just want to be in a good spot for me [and] my family."

Meyers insisted that the Raiders know his position, and he's now sitting back waiting to see if anything will happen. "[The Raiders] know how I feel," Meyers said. "It's no reason for me to keep going back crying to them, 'Can you get me out of here?'
