Aaron Rodgers reveals message he sent to Broderick Jones after viral tackle

All eyes will be on Aaron Rodgersthis coming Sunday, as he and the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Green Bay Packers. Although it’s been two years since he parted ways with the Packers, there remains much drama about his exit from the team he suited up for 18 seasons.

Rodgers and the Steelers are coming off a 33-31 loss at the hands of the Cincinnati Bengals in a Week 7 “Thursday Night Football” game, and will look to bounce back against the NFC North-division leading Green Bay.

While speaking with reporters on Wednesday, the four-time Most Valuable Player touched on the subject of thetackle he got from teammate Broderick Jones after he threw a touchdown pass in Week 7’s meeting with the Bengals.

It can be recalled that Rodgers was caught on video seemingly looking angry at Jones for inadvertently taking him down while celebrating the touchdown and as the two were going to the sidelines.

It’s all good now for Rodgers, who looked back on it with a smile on his face.

“I love everything you’re about, but also, I’m 41 — You can’t be tackling me like that,” Rodgers told reporters about what he texted Jones (h/tBrooke Pryor of ESPN).

Against the Bengals, Rodgers threw for 249 passing yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions while completing 23 of his 34 throws.
