For every Dallas Cowboys win, the media team produces a "Sounds from the Sidelines" video that shows highlights and players mic'd up to give fans an in-depth look at how things play out on the sidelines.
Well, in Dallas' 44-22 win over the Washington Commanders, it was George Pickens who was mic'd up.
Coming to the Cowboys with a reputation that saw him be put into a certain category, Pickens has been nothing but the ultimate professional both on and off the field, as the narratives surrounding his character appear to be way off the mark.
And his antics and how he played the game against Washington only reinforce that. He was playing at a high level, and he had fun doing it.
But how did Pickens find being mic'd up?
“I honestly forgot I was mic’d up to be honest,” Pickens said. “But after I seen the clips and stuff like that, I feel like it was super fun. Super good engagement for the fans as well.”

Cowboys winning Pickens trade
Honestly, it isn't even close.
Through seven games, 607 yards and six touchdowns from 36 receptions prove Pickens is in the form of his life and having already beaten his career-high for touchdowns in a season (was five), he is only 534 yards away from his career high and only 27 receptions away from his career high, so it could be some season for George.
The tandem with CeeDee Lamb is frightening, and the duo feeds off each other so well, and we haven't even spoken of the other weapons at Dak Prescott's disposal yet, either.
But Pickens, who is a free agent at the end of 2025, is doing his best to give himself a shot at a huge payday in the offseason, and right now, he's a $30 million+ APY receiver.
Yeah, Dallas won this trade, and it isn't even a debate.
