The Blues were in superb form as we beat La Liga side Villarreal in Spain.
City started strongly and were ahead in the 17th minute when Erling Haaland scored for a 12th successive match, as he finished Rico Lewis’ low cross.
After dominating the first half, we doubled our lead shortly before the breakthrough Bernardo Silva when he headed home Savinho’s cross.

The Brazilian went close himself in the second half with a brilliant solo run with Villarreal keeper Alfonso Pedraza out quickly to stop him.
Renata Veiga headed against the post late on but it was a rare opportunity for the home side with City deserving to take the win and move onto seven points from three games in Europe.
