Find out the three things you didn’t see on TV last night.
Football Italia was among the accredited media at the Bernabeu last night, when a Jude Bellingham goal, his first one this season, gave the Merengues all three points.
Dusan Vlahovic had missed a big chance before Bellingham’s goal, and Brahim Diaz could have been sent off. Everyone could see that. But what did you miss by watching the game on TV? Let’s find out below.
Different attitude from coaches

The Spanish tactician looked quite irritable, especially in the second half, when he often complained to the fourth official even for minor incidents on the pitch. Until Bellingham netted the eventual winner, Xabi kept arguing with the referee’s assistant, while Igor Tudor made sure his players did not lack support from the touchline. The Croatian manager kept encouraging his side, regularly applauding with his hands in the air, even after mistakes, like Vlahovic’s error in front of the goal.
Mbappé and Thuram swapped shirts
Real Madrid superstar and his French compatriot Khephren Thuram reunited at the Bernabeu last night and swapped shirts at full-time. The pair warmly hugged close to the touchline seconds after the final whistle. Mbappé had played the full 90 minutes, while Thuram had been subbed off right after a Brahim Diaz foul that could have resulted in a red card. The French stars exchanged a few words and then swapped shirts. Thuram had praised Mbappé on the eve of the game, saying that he was the best player in the world alongside 2025 Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé.
Di Gregorio and Vlahovic

Juventus striker Vlahovic was understandably dejected last night, having missed the biggest chance of the match in the second half, when the result was still 0-0. Di Gregorio, the best Juventus player at the Bernabeu, comforted the Serbian forward at full-time when almost all players had left the pitch. The Italian goalkeeper was about to enter the tunnel when he spotted Vlahovic behind him, so he returned onto the pitch to hug him and then moved his hands as to say ‘keep going.’ Vlahovic remains Juventus’ best scorer this season with four goals.
