Kaoru Mitoma remains an [Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/?ref=au) injury doubt ahead of their trip to Manchester United.
Fabian Hurzeler will give his next update tomorrow on the eve of the Old Trafford fixture before his squad travel to the North West.
Mitoma has missed matches either side of the most recent international break after suffering an injury to his left ankle.
He was not ready for the home game against Newcastle, a match which Joel Veltman and Brajan Gruda also sat out.
Speaking after the 2-1 win, head coach Hurzeler said: “Mitoma still has to recover from his hit.
“We try to bring him back as quick as possible.
“He was close but we have to be patient with hm so let’s see how the next days are going.”
Mitoma scored at Old Trafford last season, setting a new record in the process with the 15th goal by a Japanese player in the Premier League.
Veltman, Gruda and Mitoma were not seen as Albion released a set of photos from their Wednesday training session.
Diego Gomez appeared to be fully involved in the session.
He went off in the Newcastle game after taking a blow to the hip, possibly in a collision with Toon goalkeeper Nick Pope.
While clearly in pain – and bitterly disappointed – at the time, the injury did not initially look serious.
Gomez duly returned to the group as they worked at Lancing ahead of their clash with United.
That could all open the possibility of Hurzeler naming an unchanged XI for the first time as Albion boss although Max De Cuyper is among those pushing for a start.
