October 23 – Club World Cp winners Chelsea have scored another victory but this time off the pitch with the club expanding its partnership with Vietnamese tech company FPT to include sleeve sponsorship for the remainder of the 2025–26 season.
FPT is one of Asia-Pacific’s leading technology solutions providers, and aligned with the London club as an official global partner in April. The upgraded deal, led by club president and COO Jason Gannon and new president of commercial ops Todd Kline, comes as the Blues continue to search for a new front-of-shirt sponsor.
In a statement announcing the deal, Chelsea said: “With a laser-focus on driving high-performance business transformation, FPT solutions are now being embedded across the club to improve efficiency, scale operations, and elevate quality across almost every aspect of the club’s work.”
With global audiences and broadcast exposure at record highs, brands are realising that any free fabric is simply promotional real estate. With TV cameras now trained to reveal a bead of sweat, a shirt sleeve becomes a billboard.
Chelsea’s success in the USA, bringing in around £86 million in prize and participation payments, added to its global reach and several companies entered the bidding process for the sleeve this season.
