Leeds United have struggled to score goals in the Premier League this season. Their forwards have not been clinical, and the attack has often looked laboured, with the team also missing a couple of players in the final third due to injuries.
Their struggles in the final third have often led to question marks over certain decisions Leeds made in the summer transfer window, with many insisting that the club didn’t do enough to improve their forward line.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored just once since joining the club on a free transfer. He has missed several chances, and the onus is on him to improve his effectiveness in front of goal.
Brenden Aaronson’s continued presence on the right wing due to injuries to Wilfried Gnonto and Daniel James has irked several fans, especially with Daniel Farke deciding to loan out Largie Ramazani in the summer.
However, the Belgian winger has been woeful at Valencia.
Largie Ramazani has not proved the Leeds United manager wrong in Spain
Leeds fans often wonder whether Ramazani would have been a better option on the right wing than Aaronson if the Belgian were at Elland Road this season.
He definitely has better attacking instincts than the American, but Ramazani has done little in Spain to suggest that he would have excelled in the Premier League.
The winger has not earned Valencia manager Carlos Corberan’s trust and has yet to start a league game for Los Che since joining the club on loan.
All five appearances came from the bench, and he has yet to score a goal in Spain. Ramazani missed the 0-0 draw against Alaves last weekend.
The winger has picked up a muscle injury, and there is no clarity whether he will be fit to be in the squad against Villarreal on Monday evening.
Farke insisted that Ramazani was the one who wanted to return to Spain. However, there were doubts over whether he would have had opportunities to play in the Premier League, given that the manager didn’t trust him enough in the Championship last season.
The Leeds boss didn’t believe the winger had it in him to handle the Premier League’s intensity.
Ramazani’s numbers are not pretty
The Leeds loanee has played so little football that it is hard to properly study his numbers and come to a conclusion about his overall game this season.
He has played a total of 85 minutes across five substitute appearances in La Liga and has one assist in the 3-0 win over Getafe, which was also his debut.
That was his best performance in a Valencia shirt, and since then, he has been nothing more than average, making very little impact when coming on from the bench.
In the limited number of minutes he has played, which doesn’t even constitute a full game, Ramazani has had little impact apart from his debut.
He is not scoring well in any metric, which makes sense when you understand that Corberan has not started him in a game despite driving Valencia’s interest in signing him last summer.
Leeds do not have a recall clause in the loan agreement, and Ramazani will spend the rest of the season at Valencia, unless the Spanish club want to end the arrangement in January.
The Whites were hoping that Ramazani would return to Elland Road after increasing his value at Valencia. However, at this rate, he may struggle to find suitors next year.
