Liverpool finally brought an end to their run of defeats with an emphatic Champions League triumph at Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany on Wednesday evening. Having fallen behind early on, Arne Slot's side roared back with Hugo Ekitike, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai all scoring in a 5-1 victory.
The result means the Reds have six points from their three games in the opening stage of the competition and avoided becoming the first Liverpool side to lose five games in a row in 72 years.
But there was plenty that went unnoticed or under the radar during the 90 minutes at the Deutsche Bank Park...
Selfish Salah
Tongues were sent wagging before kick-off when, for the second Champions League game in succession, Mohamed Salah was left out of the starting line-up.
The Egyptian finally made it on for the final 16 minutes, a spell during which his eagerness to score meant he managed as many shots and efforts on target as any other Liverpool player on the night.
But there was one incident where Salah's single-mindedness saw him ignore an unmarked Florian Wirtz and attempt an ambitious shot that failed to trouble the scoresheet. The look on Wirtz's face as his team-mate faltered spoke volumes.

Mo says thanks
Mind you, the daft kneejerk reaction from some Liverpool supporters on social media indicates they would rather Salah - scorer of 248 goals for the club - now retires having chose not to pass to Wirtz.
And there was a suggestion the Egyptian was instantly down the tunnel in disgruntled fashion after the final whistle without recognising the contribution of the travelling Kop.
True, the winger didn't hang around too long with his team-mates. But he still found time to applaud Liverpool supporters in the away end before departing.
Jota gesture
If there's one thing that has become apparent during this season's Champions League run, it's that public address systems at stadia in Europe tend to be loud. Very loud indeed.
And anyone fancy a kip during Wednesday's game would have been disappointed with the eardrum-shattering level of volume from every announcement.
There was, though, a nice touch before the match when the announcer read out Diogo Jota's name as part of the Liverpool team with the Portuguese also included at the bottom of the starting XI on the screens inside the Deutsche Bank Park.
Virgil bombed
Being a mascot at a Champions League game is pretty much the pinnacle for any young supporter. For one fledgling Frankfurt fan, though, Wednesday didn't exactly go to plan.
The young girl was part of the group to walk out with the home team when she paused and was transfixed by the camera as everyone else continued towards the halfway line. When then attempting to catch up, she promptly fell over.
Then after the game, Cody Gakpo got up to mischief by photobombing Virgil van Dijk celebrating with his official UEFA man-of-the-match award. Presumably the attacker was wondering why Florian Wirtz or Dominik Szoboszlai wasn't the recipient.
