Unai Emery previewed the trip of Aston Villa away to **Go Ahead Eagles**in the Europa League.
The Villans have been on a strong run of form in the last four weeks, winning their last three Premier League fixtures as well as both their **Europa League**encounters against **Bologna**and Feyenoord.
Emery expects stiff competition from a second Dutch opponent that will push his players to perform at their highest level as he tries to take the team back to the standards from their previous campaigns.
“To get a good result away, it’s necessary to play focused, to play disciplined, to play seriously, and then to play trying to impose our game plan and tactical structure against the opponent.
“Thursday is going to be the same. They are playing with their supporters. They won one match, they have three points and for them it was very important to get points. Playing at home, they’re going to give their best. They’re going to be so, so motivated for this match.
“We have respect for opposing teams in Europe because they usually play very motivated when they are at home They’re going to play here with their supporters and they try to beat us, showing their capacity. We have to respect them, play seriously, getting our collective level as high as possible.
*“They have experience playing against big teams. They played PSV last week and they lost 2-1 away, but on Tuesday, PSV won 6-2 against Napoli.*
“How did they perform against PSV? It was really good. How they are playing in their style is a good style, playing in combinations, trying to build up and keep ball possession against every team.
“They are being so aggressive in man-to-man in the high press and trying to win duels. We have to adapt in everything we will need, tactically, tomorrow. We have to impose our qualities.
“We needed to adapt some new players, to get the balance emotionally with the team because we had some circumstances that didn’t help us in August.
*“In September, we were progressively getting better and emotionally feeling together the way we needed to do. Individually and tactically, we were working, getting matches, getting minutes, getting confidence, getting good results, and now there’s still work to do. We’re in October and we need to improve in the Premier League. We have to try to keep our strong way in the Europa League.”*
