Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks had a great start to their 2025-26 campaign, as they crushed the Washington Wizards at Fiserv Forum on Wednesday, 133-120.
Antetokounmpo was in his top form, dropping 37 points on 16-for-26 shooting from the floor with 14 rebounds and five assists in just 27 minutes of action.
After the game, however, Antetokounmpo spent some time talking about baseball.

Antetokounmpo will always be a supporter of the Brewers, and he showed how loyal he is to them when the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player said that he doesn’t like the Los Angeles Dodgers for the simple reason that Shohei Ohtani and company eliminated the Brewers in the National League Championship Series (via Nathan Marzion of Behind the Buck Pass).
“No, I don’t like the Dodgers. They beat my Brewers. So the moment they beat us, I stopped paying attention. I went to two games, you know, kind of sit back and try to enjoy the game and figure out the rules and all that with my brothers. Good experience. We won one game. We lost the other one, the one with the against the Cubs, lost the one against the Dodgers.”
Antetokounmpo, however, had praises for Dodgers ace Blake Snell, who had allowed zero runs on one hit in eight innings during the Dodgers’ 2-1 win over the Brewers in Game 1 of the NLCS.
“So after that, I just stopped paying attention. You know, one thing that I know is that I don’t like the Dodgers. But hey, incredible team. They had this guy, I think his name is Snell, right? Good, very cold-blooded. I liked him. I liked him. I don’t like his team. But yeah, I don’t pay attention to the people that beat us”.
