Meath will be playing their home National Football League games in Croke Park, it was announced at last night's GAA County Board meeting in Dunganny.
Chairperson Jason Plunkett and project lead Noel Dempsey outlined details of the redevelopment of Pairc Tailteann, which will see the county grounds close over the coming weeks.
Sisk are the prefferred tenderers and are in the process of finalising contracts.
Dunshaughlin delegate Jim Smith also stated that Meath GAA are playing too many games at the Dunganny training grounds, and should reconsider the number of games being played there, as it is an unsuitable venue.
The Meath GAA county convention will take place in Navan O'Mahonys hall at 7pm on Monday 1st December.
McNamara Feeds were announced as the new county hurling sponsor.
