Manchester United could target a move for Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner if they decide to part ways with Ruben Amorim in the future, GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Ben Jacobs has exclusively revealed on the Market Madness podcast.
While the Old Trafford side are not looking to make a change in the dugout anytime soon, Glasner is believed to be on the radar of INEOS amid ongoing uncertainty over his future in South London.
The Austrian manager’s contract with Palace expires at the end of the season, and chairman Steve Parish fuelled speculation over Glasner’s long-term prospects at the club this week, saying "Oliver wants to win things".
He also confirmed early talks have taken place with Glasner about extending his Selhurst Park deal, with the two parties looking to "align their interests".
Oliver Glasner Could Leave Crystal Palace in 2026

Jacobs, speaking on Market Madness, said he would be very surprised if Glasner was not a leading candidate for Man United should they decide to replace Amorim in the future:
“Oliver Glasner is probably the most interesting one, and Steve Parish did an interview during the week implying that Glasner could go, and we know that Mark Guehi is not going to sign a new deal either.
“Glasner also wanted to see how the summer panned out. Again on the radar of Manchester United and other top clubs, if a scenario results in the case of Old Trafford, where Ruben Amorim departs, Glasner is maybe more likely to leave Palace at the end of the season rather than dive into anything mid-season.
“So some of his future may depend on how the season pans out, but I do think big clubs are going to come calling for Oliver Glasner.
“And if there is to be a vacancy at Manchester United, whether now or in the future, I'd be very surprised if Oliver Glasner wasn't one of the leading names.”
Glasner, who took over as Palace boss in February 2024, guided them to FA Cup triumph last season – the club’s first major trophy – and also enjoyed Community Shield success in August.
The 'incredible' 51-year-old also went on an impressive unbeaten run with the Eagles, going 18 games undefeated in all competitions before falling 2-1 at Everton earlier this month.
Palace are sitting eighth in the Premier League after eight games – one place above Man United, who visit Selhurst Park on November 30.
Glasner’s side next take on Cypriot side Larnaca in the Europa League on Thursday while United host Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.
