Aston Villa will show off their brand new third kit for the first time on Thursday evening, when they face Go Ahead Eagles in the [Europa League](https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/all-about/europa-league) in Holland.
Unai Emery's side are looking for a third straight win in the competition after gaining maximum points from matches against Bologna and Feyenoord previously.
But when they take to the pitch at the Stadion De Adelaarshorst this evening, they will be doing so in their white and blue 2025/26 third kit for the very first time.

The adidas strip, which was officially launched in August, features the iconic sportswear manufacturer's original trefoil logo and is inspired by the distinctive stained glass windows that have been a fixture at Villa Park since it opened in 1897.
It's not just the players who will be showing off fresh attire in the Europa League on Thursday. Manager Emery will also be sporting a brand new walkout jacket, in keeping with the theme. Would-be managers can also now purchase the jacket for themselves.

Villa left-back Lucas Digne will not be involved in the match against Go Ahead Eagles after suffering a deep cut above his ankle in the 2-1 win over Tottenham last Sunday. However, fellow defender Tyrone Mings has been passed fit and has travelled with the squad to the Netherlands.
Youri Tielemans misses out again with a calf issue and is expected to be out for a further two weeks. Andres Garcia is also recovering from injury.
A win for Villa tonight could send them to the top of the Europa League table, dependent on results elsewhere, as the Claret and Blue look to go solidify their position as one of the competition favourites. Only this time, they'll be doing it in a retro adidas kit that offers more than a bit of nod to the glory days of the 80s.
