The Rovers youngster has been selected in the squad that will fly out to Qatar before the tournament starts on November 3. England will face Venezuela, Haiti and Egypt in the group stages and are expected to reach the knockout rounds.
Having been part of Neil Ryan's England group for the last few camps, Tyjon's main international aim was earning his place at the World Cup.
"I think that was a main goal for me this year, internationally-wise, being picked for the big tournament," Tyjon told [RoversTV.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQ3_EFbbdFo)

"I'm really proud to be part of that squad, it makes me smile. It's the big stage, isn't it? That's where you want to be, that's where you want to perform.
"I had my first camp in February, Under-16s, and then two years later I'm in the World Cup squad, so it's been really good.
"It's a chance to showcase yourself to the world, it's a big chance, a big moment. I'm going in there trying to impact with goals and assists, so if I can do that and get my name out there, then that'll be good.
England's expectation is to win the tournament. They did so most recently in 2017, under the guidance of Steve Cooper, with a squad littered with now household Premier League names. Phil Foden won the Golden Ball, netting twice in the final, with Marc Guehi, Morgan Gibbs-White and Jadon Sancho also impressing.
"I think my age group have been blessed as well with a lot of talent, so that's going to help us win the tournament," Tyjon added.
"It's a tournament, so every game matters, so I feel like every game you have to win, you have to fight, you have to battle, on the pitch, off the pitch, support the lads, support the coach. It's going to be a big one.
"This is going to be my first tournament, so I'm very excited. I've never been to Qatar as well, so I'm excited about that. The weather is going to be a big factor.
"I think I'll gain a lot of experience from this trip and then hopefully bring that to Brockhall."
