Week 8 NFL Picks: Winners and Losers for Every Game

The 2025 NFL season rolls on with an intriguing slate of games in Week 8, including a tantalizing reunion between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in Pittsburgh.

With six teams on byes, there are fewer games than usual for fans to follow, but that doesn't mean there will be any less drama.

Without further ado, here are GIVEMESPORT's picks for the winners of each NFL Week 8 matchup!

Minnesota Vikings (3-3) vs Los Angeles Chargers (4-3)

Line: Chargers -3.5

The Minnesota Vikings will have Carson Wentz under center once again when they face the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football, as J.J. McCarthy continues to recover from a high ankle sprain.

Wentz had a tough go of things against Philadelphia on Sunday, throwing two interceptions while somehow still keeping the Vikings in the game down the stretch with 313 passing yards.

While Justin Herbert will have his hands full against a Brian Flores defense, the Chargers should be able to outscore a Minnesota offense that can't find its footing at the moment.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Los Angeles Chargers

Buffalo Bills (4-2) vs Carolina Panthers (4-3)

Line: Bills -7.5

Josh Allen

After a much-needed bye week, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are looking to bounce back from consecutive losses with a tricky trip to North Carolina to take on the Panthers.

Carolina has won two in a row, and could give the Bills some trouble with their physical run offense, which Buffalo has struggled to stop so far this season.

The bye week might be the biggest factor behind a Bills win, however.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Buffalo Bills

Chicago Bears (4-2) vs Baltimore Ravens (1-5)

Line: Bears +6.5

Caleb Williams Chicago Bears

It's surprising how highly favored the Baltimore Ravens are heading into Week 8, considering their 1-5 record and the fact that Lamar Jackson still isn't 100 percent.

The Chicago Bears are playing some good football, winning four straight while riding their strong running game.

The Ravens are desperate, but their season might be over if (and likely when) they lose to Chicago this weekend. This is a good chance to make some money.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Chicago Bears

Cleveland Browns (2-5) vs New England Patriots (5-2)

Line: Patriots -7

Stevenson Patriots

The New England Patriots have remarkably won three straight on the road, taking over top spot in the AFC East as they return home to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 8.

While the Browns' offense is hardly a threat, their defense can be quite stingy, giving Drake Maye another tricky challenge. But it's hard to see the Patriots not taking this one and continuing this Cinderella run.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: New England Patriots

Miami Dolphins (1-6) vs Atlanta Falcons (3-3)

Line: Falcons -7.5

Penix Falcons

The Miami Dolphins are a tire fire, and possibly the easiest opponent for any NFL team at the moment. Expect the Atlanta Falcons to run it up on them through Bijan Robinson, coming back home after a tough loss on the road in San Francisco.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Atlanta Falcons

New York Giants (2-5) vs Philadelphia Eagles (5-2)

Line: Eagles -7.5

Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts vs. Green Bay PackersKirby Lee-Imagn Images

The New York Giants may have upset the Philadelphia Eagles two weeks ago, but we have a hard time seeing the same thing happen again in Week 8.

The Eagles offense seems to be clicking on all fronts after a strong showing against the Vikings in Minneapolis, and should give the Giants all they can handle. Don't think you can beat the defending Super Bowl champs twice in one season.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Philadelphia Eagles

New York Jets (0-7) vs Cincinnati Bengals (3-4)

Line: Bengals -6.5

Joe Flacco

Joe Flacco has injected some life into the Cincinnati Bengals' season, and could bring them back to .500 with a win over the 0-7 New York Jets at home on Sunday.

Tyrod Taylor will be starting after Justin Fields was finally benched in Week 7, but that shouldn't change much for a Jets team that is just flat-out bad.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Cincinnati Bengals

San Francisco 49ers (5-2) vs Houston Texans (2-4)

Line: Texans -1.5

Mac Jones is expected to start for the San Francisco 49ers against a really good Houston Texans defense this week, which is why the books are ever-so-slightly favoring the Texans.

But with Christian McCaffrey running the ball better than he ever has, the Niners might have enough on offense to have the overall advantage, and should take this one as they continue to navigate an injury-riddled season.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: San Francisco 49ers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2) vs New Orleans Saints (1-6)

Line: Buccaneers -4

The battered and bruised Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on the road for the second straight week on short rest, which will have the New Orleans Saints salivating.

Baker Mayfield is losing weapons left and right, and his lack of options on offense showed in a Monday night loss to Detroit.

The Saints have found ways to be competitive against a number of good teams, and playing at home, we think they might pull off an upset here.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: New Orleans Saints

Dallas Cowboys (3-4) vs Denver Broncos (5-2)

Line: Broncos -3.5

Dak Prescott

The Dallas Cowboys are humming on offense, and face a strong defense in the Denver Broncos in Week 8.

Dak Prescott would be in the MVP conversation if Dallas had a winning record, and it's easy to see him lead his offense in a shootout against a Broncos team that has struggled to score early in recent weeks.

This should be one of the most entertaining matchups of the week, but we think Dallas comes out on top.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Dallas Cowboys

Tennessee Titans (1-6) vs Indianapolis Colts (6-1)

Line: Colts -14

Daniel Jones-1

The Indianapolis Colts are massive favorites this week, and for good reason.

The Tennessee Titans are not a good football team by any means, and travel to Indiana to take on a Colts team scoring a league-best 33.1 points per game at the moment.

Daniel Jones and Jonathan Taylor look like the best quarterback-running back duo in the NFL. They'll run up the score in front of their fans.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Indianapolis Colts

Green Bay Packers (4-2) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2)

Line: Packers -3

Aaron Rodgers Steelers

We're in for a treat on Sunday Night Football, as Aaron Rodgers gets set to face the Green Bay Packers for the first time since he left in 2023.

Rodgers will face-off against his former protégé Jordan Love in what should be a thrilling quarterback battle. The Pittsburgh Steelers defense has yet to live up to its billing, and feels vulnerable to a Packers team that hasn't necessarily been an offensive juggernaut.

Green Bay needs this one if they want to maintain their status as a Super Bowl contender. They should edge it out against their former superstar signal caller.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Green Bay Packers

Washington Commanders (3-4) vs Kansas City Chiefs (4-3)

Line: Chiefs -12.5

Patrick Mahomes-1

The Kansas City Chiefs are back to looking like true contenders after a rough start to their season, and have their sights set on a Washington Commanders team that will likely be without Jayden Daniels on Monday night.

Patrick Mahomes is back to his best, and has the weapons he needs to make huge plays week in, week out.

All signs point to this being a big KC win.

GIVEMESPORT Pick: Kansas City Chiefs
