Fantasy football bold predictions for week 8

One of my Week 7 bold predictions came true when Cleveland Browns RB Quinshon Judkins finished as the RB4 in fantasy football with 84 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Well, I have another set of spicy fantasy football bold predictions teed up for Week 8. Let’s take a closer look.

Tyler Allgeier Finishes as a Top 12 Fantasy RB

Remember last week when I mentioned the Miami Dolphins rushing defense is bad? Well, the aforementioned Quinshon Judkins torching this struggling unit confirms that even a struggling offense can find success against Miami.

We all know that Bijan Robinson could be in store for a monster game, but if this game — which it very well could — Allegier could see a big enough workload in this contest to have a big fantasy day of his own.

The Falcons are 3-3 on the season. In their three losses, Allgeier has a total of 44 rushing yards and no scores on just 15 carries. In their three wins, the BYU product has 159 yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Miami is a team that is either in the midst or on the verge of a complete collapse. Allgeier should be a big beneficiary if Miami continues to struggle in Week 8.

Jalen Coker Finishes as a Top 25 Fantasy WR

I may have a bit of a problem… because I am still a firm believer in Jalen Coker as a potential fantasy asset entering the back half of the 2025 NFL season. Feel free to insert your Coke head joke at this time.

I am fully aware that Coker seeing just two targets and playing 37% of the offensive snaps in Week 7 was disappointing, but it was his first game back from a serious quad injury. I don’t believe it is far-fetched at all to believe he could be ramped a bit.

Additionally, the Panthers really didn’t have to throw the ball much to handle the floundering Jets last week, which won’t be the case against a Buffalo Bills team that is coming off a bye week after a two-game losing streak.

An expanded role combined with a negative game script against a suspect Bills’ secondary could be the recipe for Coker outperforming the low expectations many managers have for him entering this week.

Oronde Gadsden Confirms His Breakout with Another Top 5 TE Fantasy Outing

The Los Angeles Chargers offense is loaded with gifted pass catchers, which could make it tricky to trust TE Oronde Gadsden in your fantasy lineup after his breakout game of seven receptions for 164 yards and a score against the Colts in Week 7.

For clarification, I am not one of those who are concerned that this was a fluke.

The matchup is tough against a stingy Vikings defense, but the best way for this Chargers’ offense to score points consistently with a banged-up offensive line and no Omarion Hampton is to simply put the ball in the hands of Justin Herbert and ask him to win the football game.

Gadsden’s posting career highs in snaps share percentage (75+%), targets (8+), receptions (7), receiving yards (68+), and scoring his first touchdown last week means Herbert clearly trusts him. You should trust him in your fantasy lineup, too.
