Lamar Jackson called on fans to “stop engaging” with particular X accounts after he was accused of buying late-night food while high.

The Baltimore Ravens have been without the dynamic Jackson since the two-time MVP picked up an injury in the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3. Many names have missed time for Baltimore in the 2025 season, including Roquan Smith, Marlon Humphrey, and Nnamdi Madubuike to leave the franchise at 1-5 and bottom of the AFC North.

Since suffering the injury, Jackson has missed time for the first time since January 2023, and his absence has left Baltimore scrambling for answers on offense. During his time away from the team, the 28-year-old has been rehabilitating — but he was accused of getting high by prominent X account Dov Kleiman.

Earlier this week, Kleiman posted a video of Jackson buying chicken and fries from a food truck. To his 364,000-plus followers, Kleiman wrote: “Ravens star QB Lamar Jackson has gone viral for looking extremely high while buying street food past midnight.

“We have never seen an NFL player this fried.”

Jackson had no time for the post, writing what appeared to be a response which read: “Bra yall gotta stop engaging with these people [laughing emoji] they like to lie when their views low that’s why I unfollow these weirdos.”

Community Notes also added context to Kleiman’s post, adding: “The post claims Jackson ‘looked extremely high’ but the video only shows him smiling and chatting while buying food. No evidence supports substance use claims.

“Jackson denied these unfounded social media accusations.”

Entering the season as a potential Super Bowl contender, the Ravens endured a difficult start to the season due to absences, including Jackson. However, last week, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh suggested both his quarterback and linebacker Smith were set to be available in Week 8, when the Ravens host the Chicago Bears.

While Jackson did not appear at practice on Monday, he was in action on Wednesday for the first time since suffering the injury. Jackson — who was officially limited — jogged out to the practice field midway through the session and warmed up with teammates during the portion open to the media.

Asked what Jackson's chances are to play against the Bears, Harbaugh responded: “It's hard to put a number on it. I think it's just part of the process right now. I don't have any shareable injury intelligence for you guys at this point.”

Since the 1970 merger, only four NFL teams have made the playoffs after suffering a 1-5 start: the Cincinnati Bengals (1970), Kansas City Chiefs (2015), Indianapolis Colts (2018), and the Washington Football Team (2020). The Ravens have hope to add their name to the list, but a win over the Bears is crucial.

The Ravens take on the 4-2 Bears at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 26.
