Everton are in the market for a new striker in the January window and Alan Brazil feels one target to be linked to the Blues is looking miserable with his current side.
David Moyes needs more from his two strikers with a combined one Premier League goal between Beto and Thierno Barry through the opening eight games.
Improvements have been made to the Everton squad in providing real creative sparks with the likes of Jack Grealish joining over the summer.
But the same issues are there for all to see as Everton News now understands that Everton are keen to sign a new striker in January.
With Beto failing to rediscover some of the form he showed last season under Moyes, the Toffees are left waiting on Barry to suddenly get a grasp of the English game.
Tony Grant thinks Danny Welbeck would transform Everton, but there is another Premier League striker who Alan Brazil thinks looks desperately miserable at his current team.

Alan Brazil thinks Everton target Richarlison looks miserable at Tottenham
Over recent weeks, Everton have been linked with Richarlison in what would be a sensational return to Merseyside.

Given the Blues are actively looking for a new striker, a player with Premier League experience could be a real plus for the recruitment team.
Following Tottenham’s draw against Monaco on Wednesday night, Brazil admitted on TalkSPORT he was amazed by how miserable Richarlison looked at Spurs.
“Where do we start with Richarlison? He looks so miserable,” said Brazil.
“Honestly, he has his frosties in the morning and smiles and that is it for the day. He came off, his face was tripping him, and I’m like, what’s his problem? Is it because he’s not getting the service he requires? Is he making runs and not getting the early ball? What is his problem?”
Jamie O’Hara thinks Richarlison has not been good enough for Tottenham ever since he made the big-money move from Everton.
The Brazilian has started the majority of Tottenham’s games this season, in the absence of Dominic Solanke, but he is struggling to hit the form he showed on Merseyside.
Gabriel Agbonlahor left far from impressed by Richarlison
During the summer, Troy Deeney admitted Richarlison’s form hasn’t wowed him since he made the move to north London.
After all, this is a striker who has landed at Tottenham and returned around half of the goals he scored during his time at Everton.

Responding to Brazil, Gabriel Agbonlahor has admitted he also doesn’t see it in Richarlison when it comes to being a solid striker.
“I’ve never been a fan, to be honest. At Everton, he was a handful at times and the Everton fans loved him. But, at Spurs, on his day, when he’s at it he can be a pest and he can score a screamer,” he said.
“I’m looking at him yesterday [vs Monaco], and I’m like: ‘You’re not going to stay on the pitch when you’re not working hard. You’re not working hard, you’re not holding the ball up, you’re not creating anything’.”
The Brazilian showed his ability during his time at Goodison Park, and the numbers show exactly that.
The January window could provide Everton with an opportunity to bring back a cult hero and offer him somewhere that he is actually valued.
