Wearing a pink tracksuit, Erling Haaland climbs out of his footballer's car at Greenoaks Farm on his way to Manchester City training. There to pick up some raw milk, the Norwegian leaves with enough beef to feed a large family and several pots of honey under his arm.

And he departs with an offer for his next visit as well. Next time he comes to the family-run farm, he can milk one of the cows. The smile on his face suggests he would be up for it and he greets the suggestion with enthusiasm. He leaves with a thank you for proprietor Helen and is clearly a regular at the independent business. It's all part of the daily life of the most consistent goalscorer in world football.

The insight comes from Haaland's new YouTube channel, launched today (Thursday) and which opens with a 27-minute video detailing a day in the life of the superstar striker. From his morning coffee at 8am, through breakfast, a series of stretches, to training at the City Football Academy and then back home for an ice bath, sauna, and the chance to cook dinner with girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen.

It is a revealing demonstration of what it takes to reach the very top of the game. Every decision the 25-year-old makes during the day is centred around his profession and what will help him.

From how he makes his coffee to what he has for breakfast. Mario Pafundi, the sports therapist at City who works closely with Haaland, arrives at the striker's house for a series of stretches before he leaves for training.

After training, Haaland discusses his evening meal choices and interrupts his cooking for an ice bath and sauna at home, a process he repeats most days of the week.

“People always see the matches, the goals, the celebrations — but not the hours that go into being ready for all of that,” said Haaland.

“This video shows the routine, the food, the recovery, the small details that matter. It’s a bit of who I am away from the pitch, and I hope people enjoy seeing that side.”

The launch of the channel is a personal venture designed to offer direct access to Haaland's world. It will serve as his own platform to share original content and offer broader insights into his training, lifestyle and interests beyond the game.

In the first video, we are introduced to his girlfriend. They tell the story of meeting as young footballers in Norway, and Isabel describes her game as similar to Haaland's, telling him, "I don't think you're the best dribbler." The claim is greeted with a laugh and a thank you.

During his stretches with Pafundi, Haaland recalls his acrobatic goal against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League and how John Stones had scored a stunner of his own a few minutes earlier, only to be overshadowed.

"John told me, 'I scored the best goal of my life and you just come and destroy everything'," says Haaland.

During those rubdowns from Pafundi, the Premier League's top goalscorer rests his head on a matchball from the Champions League final in Istanbul and then casually reels off the dates City won their trophies on the way to the treble.

Throughout it all, Haaland is at ease and at home in front of the camera. His trip to the farm shop and his rapport with Helen are proof of that.

Haaland's YouTube premiere is now available to watch here.
