'Special': Jack Grealish admits Everton moment was 'the best feeling ever' despite Man City…

Jack Grealish has only played seven Premier League games for Everton, but he’s admitted his short time on Merseyside has given him the best feeling ever.

Everton took a huge risk over the summer in splashing out significantly to bring Grealish to the club on a season-long loan.

Of course, heading into November, it now looks like a masterstroke from the Friedkins, but Everton have stumped up a lot to bring the 30-year-old to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Friedkins wanted to make a statement summer signing for Everton and they certainly got that with the signing of Grealish.

With the World Cup coming up next summer, joining Everton has provided Grealish with an opportunity to work himself back into the England squad.

Thomas Tuchel has been impressed with Grealish in an Everton shirt, but that has not stopped the German from snubbing him from his recent squad selections.

Nevertheless, Grealish is back to enjoying his football and he’s admitted one Everton moment was the best feeling ever.

Jack Grealish admits Everton moment tops everything

Even Everton legend Peter Reid has been blown away with Grealish, who has hit the ground running on Merseyside.

It is not just on the pitch where Grealish is thriving, with the 30-year-old having also recently become a father.

During an interview with the club, Grealish was asked about the moment he carried his daughter out ahead of the game against Brighton & Hove Albion.

“It was the best feeling ever. I don’t really put my daughter out there anywhere. So, I was umming and ahing before whether to do it, but I just felt with it being the first game for my new club and my daughter hadn’t even turned one at the time,” Grealish said.

“I just felt it would be nice in the future for her to look back on. A special moment and such a special game.”

Troy Deeney has noticed Grealish playing with a smile after some difficult years at Manchester City.

Aside from his impressive form, it is apparent that Grealish is benefitting from being at a club like Everton where his quality is valued by the fans.

Grealish has his feel-good factor back at Everton

The 30-year-old may have won just about everything there is in the domestic game with Manchester City, but he has his mojo back playing for Everton.

Wayne Rooney is backing Grealish to make the England squad ahead of next summer’s World Cup in North America.

Adding goals to his game could be key if the Englishman is to get back in the national squad.

Having quickly tallied up four assists in the Premier League, Grealish’s father urged him to shoot more often.

Grealish has since got his name on the scoresheet with the winning goal against Crystal Palace just the other week.

The Everton loanee now faces a nervous wait ahead of the November squad announcement from Tuchel.
