Ben Simmons’ sister, Olivia, has found herself at the center of TikTok drama—and not for the reasons she probably hoped. The NBA player’s sister went viral after taking a swipe at one of her brother’s exes, Kendall Jenner, prompting people online to call her a “mean girl.”
Olivia Simmons (@livvyschannel), who has over 13,000 TikTok followers, posted a clip last week where she mocked Jenner’s alleged lack of baking skills. She even tagged the supermodel in the post, leaving viewers unsure whether the video was meant as a joke or a dig.
Either way, the internet didn’t take it lightly. Fans quickly came to Jenner’s defense, accusing Simmons of being unnecessarily cruel. As of Thursday, her video had racked up more than 1.2 million views.
What Did Simmons Allege?
In the now-viral video, Simmons recounts a night when her family and Jenner were playing Cards Against Humanity, and Jenner offered to bake cookies.
“First of all, you’re Kendall Jenner. Don’t you guys have a chef?” Simmons says, adding that she wasn’t sure the model could even cook.
She goes on to say that Jenner used ready-made cookie dough—something “easy to make”—but somehow ended up with “so many uneven cookies.”
Simmons jokes, “What in tarnation. You rich b—-.” She calls the whole situation “hilarious” and labels the Kardashian-Jenner clan “weird.”
The story likely dates back six or seven years, when Jenner and Ben Simmons were still together. But TikTok users weren’t amused. Many said the jab felt petty. One commenter pointed out that being bad at baking isn’t exactly a scandal. Others accused Olivia of stirring up old gossip just for attention.
Simmons didn’t seem bothered by the backlash. In a follow-up post, she pointed out that her clip had been picked up by gossip outlets like The Shade Room. She shrugged it off with, “I don’t care. Any publicity is good publicity.”
When Did Jenner And Ben Simmons Date?
Jenner and Ben Simmons were first linked back in 2018 and were spotted together at events, restaurants, and NBA games. The relationship was short-lived, though. By the following year, things fizzled out, and a source close to the pair told TMZ in 2019 that their relationship had “run its course.” The two quietly went their separate ways.
After Jenner, Simmons dated NBA star Devin Booker. The supermodel also dated British TV host Maya Jama. According to Yahoo!, the couple got engaged in 2021, but that relationship also ended the following year. These days, it’s not entirely clear if Simmons is seeing anyone, and his attention appears to be elsewhere.
The former Brooklyn Nets star has been focused on his career, which has hit a crossroads. Following the end of his one-year stint with the Los Angeles Clippers, Simmons remains unsigned heading into the 2025–2026 season.
That doesn’t mean his NBA career is over, however. Simmons reportedly turned down an offer from the New York Knicks, while other teams, such as the Boston Celtics, are also said to have shown interest.
Viewers Accuse Simmons’ Sister Of Being A ‘Mean Girl’
TikTokers weren’t impressed by Olivia Simmons’s attempt at humor, saying her dig at Jenner came off as petty rather than funny.
“Ok, so you’re a mean girl,” one person wrote, summing up much of the sentiment in the comments.
Others chimed in with similar reactions, calling the video attention-seeking.
“It’s giving I need attention,” one user said, while another added, “Not her living in your head 5 years later rent-free.”
Several found the post unnecessarily harsh.
“That was weird of you,” one viewer remarked.
“Weirdly mean for no reason,” another added.
One commenter even said, “This is embarrassing for you. You sat around obsessing over your brother’s ex-gf and was like let me film myself talking about how she made cooking in a weird way for some social media traction. If I was ur brother, I would have so much second-hand embarrassment.”
Others used the moment to take light jabs at Ben Simmons himself.
“She dodged a bullet fr,” one woman said, while another piled on with, “That’s why your brother is not signed to a team.”
A few commenters went further, accusing Olivia of straight-up bullying. “Unprovoked bullying in 2025,” one person noted.
Another agreed, writing, “Bullying is so normalized.”
One viewer described the clip as “giving peak middle school story telling.”
