It’s already been reported by multiple outlets that Billups and Damon Jones were involved in hosting various ‘rigged poker games’ that featured technology to let dealers know which cards were marked and other unfair tactics. However, clips have emerged of professional poker players acknowledging Billups’ games over the years.

Matt Berkey, a known pro poker talent, was spotted doing an interview back in 2023 where he mentioned Billups and the fact that it was common knowledge that the NBA star was scamming people out of their money during these games he hosted.

According to the FBI, Billups’ alleged involvement in these games was also tied back to the Italian mafia, who wanted the NBA star as the face of poker outings to draw in more legitimacy.
