Chargers Will Debut New Threads Against Vikings

The Los Angeles Chargers have been dealt a reality check, having lost three of their past four games heading into a tough matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on “Thursday Night Football.”

In Week 7, L.A. debuted “all-gold Charger power” uniforms in a loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

It was the first time in franchise history that the Chargers wore gold jerseys, and they are set to debut another new uniform against the Vikings.

They will be wearing all-navy “Super Chargers” threads, which are a modernized version of uniforms that bring back memories of LaDainian Tomlinson and Antonio Gates.

In a fitting gesture, the team will honor one of the most iconic players from that era when it inducts safety Rodney Harrison into its Hall of Fame.

The Chargers will also debut a playing field that has a similar feel to the uniforms, so fans will be in for a real treat as the entire night will evoke memories of teams from years past.

Head coach Jim Harbaugh wore a similar uniform in his playing days with San Diego, so it will be an event to see him sporting these colors as well.

Hopefully for Chargers fans, this uniform debut goes better than the previous one, and the team can get back on track with a victory.
