Aaron Jones is headed back to action.
The Minnesota Vikings activated the running back and Jones is expected to be in the lineup for Thursday night’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Jones, 30, has missed the past four games with a hamstring injury.
In the two games in which he played, Jones rushed for 46 yards on 13 carries.
A native of Savannah, GA, Jones is in his ninth NFL season out of UTEP and second with the Vikings. In 17 games in 2024, Jones rushed for 1,138 yards on 255 carries with five touchdowns.
Jones spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers who selected him in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
