Gordon Hill is demanding a win from Manchester United when they take on Brighton, which would take Ruben Amorim’s longest winning run in the Premier League to three matches.
Manchester United are on a quest to climb up the Premier League table following a slow start to the season.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe gave Ruben Amorim his public backing after the poor start, which was followed up by United’s 2-1 win over Liverpool.

It was the first time Amorim recorded back-to-back wins in the Premier League since becoming United head coach 11 months ago.
Now, United have a chance to make it three consecutive wins when they host Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Brighton did the double over the Reds last season, so the United first-team players shouldn’t need reminding that they are not to be underestimated.
The Seagulls, currently managed by Fabian Hürzeler, are one place behind United in 10th. Amorim won’t want his side to fall any further in the league table.

Amorim’s side must now back up that performance and result with three points when they take on Brighton.
The only way to move up to the table is by winning matches consistently, and the current standings are very tight, with plenty of scope to move into the top four before Christmas.
On the latest Man Utd The Religion podcast with United legend Gordon Hill, the former United winger shared his thoughts on United’s upcoming game against Brighton.
Hill stresses how important it is for United to continue their winning streak because it will help Amorim buy more time in the job.
“I think it’s very important,” Hill said. “You go to Liverpool and you turn them over, and you get three points, which is fabulous. It’s always great to go to Anfield and pick up points.
“But because of the previous game, picking up three points… six points in two games. That’s encouraging to see, but it’s not so much that, John [Gubba, presenter].
“It’s a great result for everybody and it’s a great result for the boys, but now you’ve got to see it continue because there’s been so much downing on it. Now, you’re looking at the positive side, and I agree with you, he’s bought himself more time.
“Now, we’ve got Brighton. People think it’s only Brighton, but I tell you what, they’ll want the three points as much as us because they’re having too clever a time, but they can play.”
Brighton could be without three key players vs Man Utd
Brighton are on a longer unbeaten run than United, avoiding defeat in the previous five matches.
Amorim will be hoping to have an almost fully fit squad to choose from, although it will be too soon for Lisandro Martinez to return.
Hürzeler will be questioned on team news ahead of the game, especially after three players missed training in midweek, including Kaoru Mitoma, Joel Veltman and Brajan Gruda.
All three players missed Brighton’s 2-1 win over Newcastle last weekend.
