The Manchester United dressing room has been impressed with the start that Matheus Cunha has made at the club, despite receiving a warning following his move from Wolves.
The Brazilian was a key player at Molineux last season as he helped Vitor Pereira's men move away from the Premier League relegation zone in the second half of the season.
He was the first new arrival of the summer transfer window at Old Trafford, with United triggering a £62.5million release clause in his contract.
He had a positive start to his United career, before missing the derby against Man City with a hamstring injury. He has featured in the four games since, particularly impressing in last weekend’s 2-1 win over rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
The Sun report that his game management in the final 10 minutes of the game stood out to people at United. His ball retention and his ability to advance is also believed to be taking pressure off captain Bruno Fernandes.
It is added that the impressions come despite staff having been warned before his arrival that Cunha could be a 'prickly' character. However, dealings with the summer arrival are said to have been 'almost purely positive'.

The forward is reported to have struck up a friendship with full-back Luke Shaw.
Despite impressing with his performances, Cunha is yet to register a goal or an assist in a United shirt. He will look to change that when United host Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Last season, the 26-year-old scored 15 Premier League goals for Wolves. He also provided a further six assists.
Cunha will also look to prove former Man City defender Joleon Lescott wrong with the pundit criticising the signing. "They don't need [a player like Cunha]," he told The Mixer, brought to you via Sky Bet.
"They're trying to build, or probably rebuild now, by buying second-tier or third-tier players and creating the foundations that get you there.
"[Bryan] Mbeumo is more of a foundational piece to their puzzle than Cunha. They're now a mid-table team, not a mid-table club, and Mbeumo needs to play."
