Prediction: Both of these teams have struggled with inconsistency to start the season, albeit for different reasons. The Vikings lost their starting QB, J.J. McCarthy, at the beginning of the year and the Chargers have been plagued with poor offensive line play outside of Joe Alt. My pick: I’m leaning towards the Vikings to win this game. Minnesota’s defensive unit is a blitzing terror and the Chargers, and Herbert, have struggled mightily against pressure this year. I’d take the points on the Vikings, or bet the moneyline straight up if you’re feeling confident. If you are betting the total, I like over 44.5 combined points in this game.
