The Buffalo Bills' offense has been a shadow of its former self in the past two games, and during the bye week, a lot had to be fixed.
After scoring at least 30 points per game and having no turnovers in the opening month, in their last two games, Buffalo scored just 20 and 14 points, along with having a whopping five turnovers, which coincidentally led to back-to-back losses.
The bye week perhaps came at the right time with the Bills' offense struggling to keep its head above water, and now, as the Carolina Panthers come into view, Khalil Shakir has detailed how the offense can get its groove back.
“Just stick to the preparation, handle our business throughout the week,” Shakir said. “Put one foot in front of the other, don't look too far ahead, and not really looking much in the past. Just that moving forward mentality, when we come out here focusing in on each and every play that we're running, focusing in on the details, and just preparing the right way throughout the week so we're ready to rock come game day.”

Shakir's Bills plan simple enough
It might really be just all above the shoulders for the Bills. We know this offense is one of the better units in football, and perhaps they just need to be reminded of that.
The turnovers have to stop, which is job No. 1 against Carolina, and the other is the weapons around Josh Allen to get separation, because against the Atlanta Falcons, they struggled.
At 4-2, it isn't panic stations, and the bye week "should" have helped the Bills figure out where the issues were and correct them. We know the mind can throw up roadblocks, but Buffalo has to drive straight through them against the Panthers.
The Bills will be "ready to rock" come gameday, and we will see if Shakir's plan really is the key to getting this offense juggernaut rolling again.
