Justin Herbert, the Los Angeles Chargers' star quarterback, is one of the NFL's top earners after proving his worth since being drafted sixth overall in the 2020 draft class.

Herbert had shone at Oregon and was tipped to be the No. 1 overall pick, until Joe Burrow's breakout year at LSU saw him fall to the Chargers at No. 6, where he quickly demonstrated his high-level play.

The Chargers' QB, who is now reportedly dating Madison Beer, became the league's highest-paid player in 2023 when he inked a massive contract.

Herbert signed a five-year, $262.5 million deal with the Chargers, raking in $52.5 million annually.

Since his contract, eight other quarterbacks have outpaced Herbert's earnings, with Dallas Cowboys' Dak Prescott topping the list at $60 million per season.

Despite his whopping $262 million contract, Herbert is only two years into the deal and has received just a fraction of the total so far.

Indianapolis Colts defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 38-24 to win a NFL football game.

Despite a stellar first five years in the league, Herbert has yet to taste success in the postseason. He has lost both of his playoff games so far.
