As the November 3 NFL trade deadline approaches, general manager Brian Gutekunst and the Packers could look to several teams potentially primed to be sellers, in search of running back help.
According to a report from Packer Report’s Easton Butler, Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane is a player Gutekunst and Green Bay have looked into, ahead of the deadline.

Achane, 24, would inject youth and game-breaking speed into the Packers’ offense and a potentially explosive complement alongside Jacobs in Green Bay’s backfield.
Through his first two-plus seasons, Achane has rushed for 800 yards with eight touchdowns while averaging an electrifying 7.8 yards per carry, through his career.
Achane would become both a complementary weapon alongside Jacobs as well as a significant upgrade over Marshawn Lloyd as an insurance policy should the veteran back get injured at any point down the stretch.
Adding an electrifying change-of-pace back, such as Achane could significantly elevate the offense, and make this team even more difficult to beat as the weather deteriorates and matchups against more dominant defenses loom when the NFL playoffs get underway.
