Information for fans travelling to Everton on Sunday

We travel to the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time on Sunday, taking on Everton in our next Premier League encounter.

Kick-off against The Toffees is set for 4.30pm, with gates opening at 2.30pm.

Supporters making the journey should take note of the following travel information…

Getting to the Hill Dickinson Stadium

Supporters are encouraged to plan their journey in advance of matchday and there are several ways to reach the Hill Dickinson Stadium...

By train

Supporters travelling by train are strongly advised to check the Merseyrail website journey planner before travelling.

Liverpool Lime Street is the city’s main railway station, with regular national services arriving from across the UK. From Lime Street, the stadium can be reached in around 10 to 15 minutes by taxi or local bus. Merseyrail services also operate from the city centre to a number of stations close to the ground, including Sandhills, Bank Hall and Moorfields. Sandhills Station is the most convenient for visiting supporters and can be used for both arrival and departure. From Sandhills, the stadium is within walking distance, and a free accessible shuttle bus runs between the station and Boundary Street.

By car

If driving to the stadium, please note that parking is largely unavailable in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.

All city centre car parks are available to park and ride by bus, using the 919 and 929 services.

Liverpool City Council also has a number of car parks in close proximity to the 919 and 929 shuttle bus services. For more information on these car parks, including opening times, number of spaces and directions, please click HERE.

Please note that parking restrictions are in operation on the residential and industrial streets surrounding the stadium, and parking enforcement will be in operation.

Matchday traffic can be heavy, and supporters are advised to allow additional time for their journey.

By bus

Several bus routes operate between Liverpool City Centre and the stadium area. Matchday shuttle services run frequently from key points across the city. These include services from Commutation Row in the city centre and Liverpool One Bus Station, which both travel directly to the stadium.

Additional routes operate from Kirkby, Bootle and nearby districts, providing convenient connections for fans staying locally. Regular public buses also run along Vauxhall Road, which is within a short walk of the ground, but timetables may vary on matchdays so supporters should check before travelling.

Details on routes and bus numbers are available here.

Walking, cycling and E-Scooters

For supporters staying in Liverpool city centre, walking to the stadium will take around 35 minutes. Cycle parking stands are available around the ground for those travelling by bike and e-scooter hire is available.

Entrance to the stadium

Away turnstiles at Hill Dickinson stadium are situated at block 24 on the North Stand, in the northeast corner of the stadium. Turnstiles will be open two hours ahead of kick-off.

Access to all turnstiles is through the Budweiser Plaza which is open three hours before any fixture starts.

Supporters are advised to enter the stadium via Gate E, shown on the map below. It is important to arrive early, to allow extra time for security and ticket checks ahead of entry.
