Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler on Ruben Amorim not winning at Manchester United
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Friday, the Seagulls boss was asked about the former Sporting coach being unable to win three matches on the spin.
As per BBC Sport, he said: “It’s not my job to comment on that but the only thing I can say is that I am really looking forward to competing against one of the best managers.
“I think he is one of the best, of course he’s not in an easy phase with Manchester but he’s proved in the past how good he can be.
“Why can’t they win three games in a row? I don’t know because I’m not there.”
United go into the weekend’s Premier League action sat 9th in the table, one place above Brighton and two points adrift of the Champions League places.
Gary Neville said he was proven wrong by Amorim against Liverpool, but the Portuguese tactician is facing another tough challenge this weekend.
Brighton could challenge for Europe this season, and the Manchester outfit will have to overcome a second unwanted streak if they are to emerge victorious on Saturday.
