“Unlikely” | Early Team News | Leeds vs West Ham

24th October 2025 Mark Carlaw (@markcarlaw)

West Ham head to Elland Road tonight to take on Leeds knowing a win is desperately needed for Nuno and his players.

It was a shambolic and shameful display in the loss to Brentford on Monday night, which has heaped incredible pressure on tonight’s game, with West Ham in serious danger of being cut adrift already this season with relegation becoming a very real feeling amongst many West Ham fans.

ExWHUEmployee has provided the early team news ahead of the game, with pressure on Nuno to put out a team that can deal with the occasion, which was certainly absent in the match on Monday night.

Niclas Fulkrug is set to miss the game with a thigh injury. Yesterday we clarified that there is no reason for Wilson to not be selected other than the manager’s decision. The manager will need to make the call as to whether to bring him in or stick with a similar set up as to what he went with against Brentford and/or rotate some of the forward players that were selected.

Callum Marshall is of course the other option but the manager is unlikely to take that option yet.

Konstantinos Mavropanos is ruled out of the game following the injury he sustained against Brentford.

Both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and El Hadji Diouf are pushing for selection following their sub bench starts on Monday having played for their respective African countries.

Brazilian’s Igor Julio and Guilherme are both available for selection having not made the bench on Monday only down to selection choices.

George Earthy is not quite fit to return to the first team squad yet.
