The Premier League Panel Which teams will get better or worse next season

Tottenham Hotspur are back in Premier League action this weekend as Thomas Frank’s side look to return to winning ways

Tottenham head to the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time on Sunday afternoon as they prepare to play Everton. The London outfit drew 0-0 away at AS Monaco in the Champions League in their last outing. They dug deep to pick up a draw against the Ligue 1 side.

Spurs lost 2-1 at home to Aston Villa in their last league game. Midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur got their goal against Unai Emery’s men but they weren’t able to get anything from the match in the end. Here is a look at their predicted line-up to face the Toffees...

Tottenham Hotspur predicted XI vs Everton: goalkeeper and defence

Spurs number one Guglielmo Vicario will keep his place between the sticks against Everton. He made some eye-catching saves against Monaco to help his team pick up a draw and will be eyeing more clean sheets over the coming weeks and months. Antonin Kinsky provides back-up if needed along with Brandon Austin.

Pedro Porro has been ever-present over recent times and will get the nod again. He likes to get up and down the right flank of defence and gets involved in attacks. On the other side, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Djed Spence come back into the starting XI to freshen things up at the back.

In the heart of the backline, there are question marks over the availability of Cristian Romero and he has missed the last two outings. Therefore, the door could swing open for Kevin Danso to feature from the off again. He has had to be patient for game time since his switch last January from RC Lens. Micky van de Ven is set to play again and will be eager to keep Everton at bay.

Tottenham Hotspur predicted XI vs Everton: midfield and attack

Thomas Frank is giving Rodrigo Bentancur plenty of opportunities at the moment. He scored for Spurs early in their clash against Aston Villa last Sunday. The ex-Boca Juniors and Juventus man has been on the books at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since his arrival back in 2022.

Joao Palhinha has made a positive impression since his loan switch from Bayern Munich. He has played in this country before with Fulham and has settled in well. Frank may look to make his switch permanent down the line after his impressive start.

Mohamed Kudus is a threat at the top end of the pitch and joined this past summer from West Ham. Spurs also delved into the market to snap up attacking midfielder Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig but he has taken a while to find his feet. The Dutchman may come back into the team here though and will be looking to prove a point and show what he can do.

Tottenham Hotspur predicted XI in full vs Everton: Vicario; Porro, Danso, Van de Ven, Spence; Bentancur, Palhinha; Kudus, Simons, Johnson; Kolo Muani.
