Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos was able to complete Friday’s training session with the rest of the group and will be available when Los Blancos host FC Barcelona in El Clásico this upcoming Sunday. Ceballos had missed the last two games against Getafe and Juventus due to a mild muscle injury.
Defenders Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dani Carvajal have rejoined the squad in training and will almost certainly be available for the decisive El Clásico, although it might be too soon for the two right-backs to start in such an intense and physical game considering that they spent more than a month on the sidelines.
Raúl Asencio has been training with the group as well, even though he had to leave the match against Juventus. The Spanish defender escaped an injury and will likely be Xabi Alonso’s first defender off the bench in case he needs more options throughout the game.
