Prime Video India launches NBA League Pass as add-on subscription

Prime Video has launched NBA League Pass, the NBA’s official subscription service for live and on-demand games, as an add-on subscription in India. This is the first time the service is being offered in the country through Prime Video.

NBA League Pass provides access to over 1,000 games per season, including every regular season game, the NBA All-Star Game, Playoffs, Conference Finals, and Finals, along with replays, highlights, and NBA TV at no extra cost. Subscribers can stream games live or on demand, with multiple plans designed for different viewing preferences.

The service offers three plans: League Pass at ?219 per month (access to all games and NBA TV on one device), League Pass Premium at ?329 per month (streaming on up to three devices, offline viewing, and an in-arena feed), and Team Pass at ?199 per month (access to one team’s games on one device).

In addition, Prime members in India will get access to select marquee NBA games during the 2025–26 season as part of their membership. These include the Opening Week, Black Friday Doubleheader, NBA Berlin and London Games, and the 2026 SoFi NBA Play-In Tournament.

The NBA on Prime season kicks off on October 25, with a doubleheader featuring New York Knicks vs. Boston Celtics at 5 a.m. IST, followed by Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Los Angeles Lakers at 7:30 a.m. IST.
